TASTING NOTE
Colour

Dark pillory with pinkish border.

AROMA:

Fresh red berries and liquorice define the nose.

TASTE:

On the palate is savory, showing ripe tannins, black chocolate and toasted pine nuts. Displays elegance and good volume. It is nicely balanced and proportioned.

MATCHING
Serving temperature between 17 and 18ºC. Suitable with simple food dishes such as fried "tapas" and smoked.
WHO CAN CONTRACT
Our parcel of 40 hectares located in "Payo de los Hoyales", in the term of Padilla del Duero, close to Peñafiel is very varied and with clearly differenciated plots which generate various wines. The strains established in the coolest zones ara selected to, at the optimal moment, be harvested and after a short maduration process, generate an attractive wine, with a good entry, juicy fruit and meidum structure.

Wines reds designation of origin D.O. Ribera del Duero
Ribera del Duero is one of the most important wine-growing regions in Spain, is located in Castilla y León and embraces a part of the Duero basin. Limited in the east by the town of San Esteban de Gormaz and in the west by Quintanilla de Onessimo, Ribera del Duero has a surface of 21000 hectares and an annual production of barely 56 million of liters.
