Cherry red of medium intensity and garnet tones.
The nose has good aromatic intensity with a lot of the fruit in an elegant black intermingled with toasted oak notes.
The palate is round, well balanced, with volume and reappears fruit aftertaste.
The Empordà appellation of origin is located in the northeastern part of Catalonia. The territory is distributed between two counties and 55 municipalities. 35 municipalities belong to the Alt Empordà and 20 are in the Baix Empordà. The average annual production is 65,000 hectoliters of wine with a planted vineyard area of approximately 2,000 hectares. At the beginning the appellation was called Empordà-Costa Brava, in 2006 the indication Costa Brava was eliminated.

Deep body and has complexity, but lacks a certain character. Nevertheless a very good match for rib eye steak.
