INFORMATION OF INTEREST Laurel 2018
Colour: Clean, clear and bright. Cherry color with garnet reflections, where it has a medium - high layer intensity. Very nice to look at.
Aroma: The nose is complex and balanced. It has expressive aromas of ripe fruit (wild strawberry, raspberry, currant, cherry) and where they are linked with aromatic herbs (fennel, rosemary). Then, the aromas of the same aging, hints of cocoa, toffee and toast strongly emerge. Ending with the most distinctive feature of the Priorat, minerality.
Taste: Into the mouth with a warmth that caresses your palate. Of structured and perfectly balanced tannins, and where the expressive fruit that was presented in the nose is again pronounced via retronasal., Thus providing a fantastic taste, fullness and finesse.
Meat cannelloni, Catalan spinach, meat stews with potatoes, chicken with prawns, duck breast with citrus sauce, baked broccoli with béchamel and au gratin cheese, etc.
