TASTING NOTE
Colour

Clean and bright Very intense cherry color with garnet reflections. Very nice to look at.

AROMA:

On the nose, it is personified expressivity, where it marks all the character and potential of the terroir. Aromas of ripe black fruit perfectly balanced with the balsamic notes of species. Very complex.

TASTE:

Entry into the mouth where the black fruit seduces you with all its expression. It is a wine with exceptional acidity, which fuses with a freshness that characterizes the great wines of Bierzo. A palate in the mouth with a sublim elegance perfectly harmonized with some tannins of an indisputable finesse.

WHO CAN CONTRACT
Las Lamas is a red wine made in D.O Bierzo by Descendants of J. Palacios in the town of Villafranca del Bierzo, León. The winery was created by Álvaro Palacios and his nephew Ricardo in 1999, in love with the potential of the area and the variety of the Mencía grape. Las Lamas comes from 3 plots of between 60 and 100 years old that are located in the same place. On very steep slopes and on slate soils the vineyards are cultivated in Biodynamics. The elaboration takes place in large wooden vats, without large extractions and stepping on the grapes with the feet is left to ferment with the indigenous yeasts. It is transferred to French oak barrels and allowed to carry out the malolactic fermentation and its subsequent aging. Las Lamas is a wine that interprets the landscape, a wine in perfect balance between concentration and finesse, between minerality, grapes and aging.
