TASTING NOTE
Colour

Clean and Brilliant Light reddish color with violet reflections, without much color power and with a layer of medium - high intensity. Very nice to look at.

AROMA:

Very fresh entry, highlight its characteristic aromas of red fruit, flowers and herbs slightly infused. It highlights an important background behind sweet spices such as vanilla notes, and very subtly toasted, contributed by the aging in French oak barrels.

TASTE:

Very delicate and elegant entrance, different from any Pinot Noir from Burgundy. With tannins present but at the same time subtle and a relatively little acidity, they make more fruit in this wine.

MATCHING
Its delicacy and elegance make it ideal for accompanying and combining dishes of all styles, without much taste power, as it could lower the wine. It would look perfect to accompany it with duck magret with red fruit sauce, pasta with sauces and truffle, etc.
WHO CAN CONTRACT
The vines are intensely planted and organically grown "without certification", while the objective in the winery is the balance and clear expression of the land.
The 38.3 hectares of Jean Grivot were divided into 22 vineyard denominations in the communes of Vosne-Romanée, Vougeot, Chambolle-Musigny and Nuits-Saint-Georges. In addition to the three big names, there are 8 first raw, including the well-known Les Beaux Monts and Suchots a Vosne-Romanée.

The grapes are destemmed and the cold maceration usually lasts only one or two days. The alcoholic fermentation is spontaneous and the malo-lactic fermentation takes place in barrel. Depending on the harvest, the proportion of new oak is around 40-70% for large crude.
