Amazing nose entry. The aromas of spices give almost all the prominence, where the black and white pepper are responsible, along with very expressive aromas of volcanic stone. For lovers of minerality this is definitely a wine to consider.
In the mouth it has a very strong acidity, but where it is able to be rounded thanks to a good freshness. Tannins until developed with a finish marked by sapidity and minerality.
The Empordà appellation of origin is located in the northeastern part of Catalonia. The territory is distributed between two counties and 55 municipalities. 35 municipalities belong to the Alt Empordà and 20 are in the Baix Empordà. The average annual production is 65,000 hectoliters of wine with a planted vineyard area of approximately 2,000 hectares. At the beginning the appellation was called Empordà-Costa Brava, in 2006 the indication Costa Brava was eliminated.
