Cherry red tones, with garnet border, we should know that the Cabernet variety is present in a high percentage. It is a bright and attractive wine in sight.
Firstly it shows sensations of closed, its recommended to aerate. Then it is presented as a wine with a wide range of aromas from Cabernet and Tempranillo variety (balsamic, aromatic plants as chamomile, berries, cream ). It also show the typical aromas of HABLA, such as licorice, woodsmoke or snuff sheet. It is a complex wine in nose.
Powerful entrance in palate, but it becomes pleasant in the palate route, fleshy and structured, filling the whole mouth. Deep and persistent.
The Empordà appellation of origin is located in the northeastern part of Catalonia. The territory is distributed between two counties and 55 municipalities. 35 municipalities belong to the Alt Empordà and 20 are in the Baix Empordà. The average annual production is 65,000 hectoliters of wine with a planted vineyard area of approximately 2,000 hectares. At the beginning the appellation was called Empordà-Costa Brava, in 2006 the indication Costa Brava was eliminated.
