Intense and concentrated. Varietal aromas, lots of fruit, ripe black and spicy notes, hints of undergrowth and make a nice roasted flavors balanced nose, very expressive.
Shown powerful, meaty and structured. Its high fruit load marks a long journey and tasty. Good acidity and tannic feeling after its passage. Long and fruity with smoked in retronsal.
The Empordà appellation of origin is located in the northeastern part of Catalonia. The territory is distributed between two counties and 55 municipalities. 35 municipalities belong to the Alt Empordà and 20 are in the Baix Empordà. The average annual production is 65,000 hectoliters of wine with a planted vineyard area of approximately 2,000 hectares. At the beginning the appellation was called Empordà-Costa Brava, in 2006 the indication Costa Brava was eliminated.
