It features a bright, intense cherry red and covered with shades of tile on the edge of the cup.
The aroma is powerful, with a perfect balance between the elements that bring the two varieties, ripe red fruit and black berry from merlot and the cabernet and green pepper. It also shows aromas from the oak and toast staves roasted and lightly spicy notes.

The Empordà appellation of origin is located in the northeastern part of Catalonia. The territory is distributed between two counties and 55 municipalities. 35 municipalities belong to the Alt Empordà and 20 are in the Baix Empordà. The average annual production is 65,000 hectoliters of wine with a planted vineyard area of approximately 2,000 hectares. At the beginning the appellation was called Empordà-Costa Brava, in 2006 the indication Costa Brava was eliminated.
