INFORMATION OF INTEREST Clio Magnum 2014
Colour: Cherry red very covered with a garnet edge.
Aroma: Intense nose of ripe fruits, blackberry, blueberries and candied fruit, with notes of roasted coffee, cocoa and liquorice finesse and elegance.
Taste: Tasty and powerful it has a great structure, with very concentrated and sweet tannins, a multitude of pleasant sensations and a long, elegant and sweet finish of mouth. Power, meatiness, flavor and opulence They combine in the palate of this wine that little by little grows in the bottle.
Due to its organoleptic characteristics it is a wine that can accompany a great diversity of dishes, rice, everything type of meats, roasts, game meats, poultry, stews ... ideal for the after-dinner and certain types for dessert.
The first steps of this winery began to bear fruit at the end of 2001, as a result of the collaboration agreement between the Gil Family and Chris Ringland, one of the best Australian winemakers.
The first harvest that is commercialized is the one corresponding to the 2002 vintage under the El Nido and Clío brands.
In the 2009 campaign the first harvest of Corteo is made, which completes the current range of wines from Bodegas El Nido.
