Colour

Intense ruby red colour.

AROMA:

Aromas of ripe cherry, cassis, violets, black fruits, dark chocolate with magnificent species.

TASTE:

With a large body, ripe, dense and yet silky-smooth, with notes of chocolate flavour. Fleshier than others in the same area, and with more tannins successfully buffered by fruit.

Its delicate flavour will make us enjoy it in an exceptional way with the best beef dishes.

Château Duhart-Milon is located next to Château Lafite, at the north end of Pauillac town. Monsieur Duhart was apparently one of those pirates who, in the seventeenth century, chose the area to move to the viticulture and respectability. Classified as a quatrième cru in 1855, ownership passed after a serious decline in the first half of the twentieth century, and began to recuperate at the late '70s with a fine and powerful wine, when the replanted program of Baron de Rothschild Domaine began to bear its fruit. The Rothschilds acquired in 1962 Duhart-Milon, equipping the winery with new technologies for a vineyard which consists primarily of cabernet sauvignon and supplemented by Cabernet Franc and Merlot to a lesser extent.
