This wine presents a garnet cherry color and a sharp, vivid and bright border.
In nose, it firstly shows slight sensations of medicines, but disappear quickly becoming ever more lactic notes from wood, red fruits and floral aromas.
In the mouth, becomes wide, warm and sweet. Medium bodied, correct acidity, denotes bitter notes on the palate and a fruity final.
The Empordà appellation of origin is located in the northeastern part of Catalonia. The territory is distributed between two counties and 55 municipalities. 35 municipalities belong to the Alt Empordà and 20 are in the Baix Empordà. The average annual production is 65,000 hectoliters of wine with a planted vineyard area of approximately 2,000 hectares. At the beginning the appellation was called Empordà-Costa Brava, in 2006 the indication Costa Brava was eliminated.
