Colour

Black with purple trim.

AROMA:

Elegant, complex and intense. The notes of violets around a wide range of red fruits.

TASTE:

Structured and powerful attack. Sublime and velvety in the mouth. Reminiscent of raspberries, blackberries, blueberries and strawberry confit. Floral background. Lingering finish.

WHO CAN CONTRACT
A wine of a single vintage, representing the growth cycle of an exceptional year. After two years of refinement in wood, bottled for a long life (more than 50 years). Since its foundation in 1692, Taylor has been dedicated to making the finest Port. The house remains entirely focused on Port production and specialised in its premium styles. Unlike most other producers, it does not market any other wine. Taylor is committed to remaining independent and family owned. Family ownership guarantees the continuity of purpose required to make wines of quality and character. It also preserves a priceless inheritance of experience and skill passed down through the generations over more than three centuries.

The Empordà appellation of origin is located in the northeastern part of Catalonia. The territory is distributed between two counties and 55 municipalities. 35 municipalities belong to the Alt Empordà and 20 are in the Baix Empordà. The average annual production is 65,000 hectoliters of wine with a planted vineyard area of approximately 2,000 hectares. At the beginning the appellation was called Empordà-Costa Brava, in 2006 the indication Costa Brava was eliminated.
