WHO CAN CONTRACT
Emilio Lustau S. A. was founded in 1896 by José Ruiz-Berdejo. In 1940, his son-in-law Emilio Lustau Ortega moved the winery to the old district of San Jaime, in the historic quarter of Jerez de la Frontera. From 1950 to now, the firm is exporting wines of Jerez. In the 1970s the company continued its expansion. First, to build new builds with wineries in the family property of Nuestra Señora de la Esperanza. Then, from early 1980s and under the direction of Rafael Balao, became one of Jerez's most innovative companies. In 1990 the management of Emilio Lustau S. A. changed to pass into the hands of the known Luis Caballero SA company, producer of liquors and spirits and the famous Ponche Caballero, the best-selling liqueur from Spain. In June 2008 Lustau acquired four of the most important brands in the history of the wine of Jerez, La Ina, Botaina, Río Viejo and vineyard 25.
