AROMA:

Complex, elegant, franco. Notes to tobacco, cocoa cream, liquorice, rosemary. Hints of black olives, peach in syrup and toasted.

TASTE:

On the palate it is elegant, round, agile drink but persistent taste. The palate is velvety with reminiscences of ripe and roasted fruit. Long, sweet finish.

Excellent for desserts, particularly with pastry it enhances its qualities.

The wine of this Don PX Gran Reserva is the young PX under oxidative ageing for 25 years in American oak. Bodegas Toro Albalá is regarded as one of the 100 Golden wineries Spaniards of the 21st century. It is located in the municipality of Aguilar de la Frontera, 50 kilometers from Córdoba, and was founded in 1844 by Antonio Sánchez Prieto in a mill called La Noria, near the castle of this town. Despite the antiquity of the winery, the take-off in the rest of Spain has been slow to occur. It has been more than 100 years until Antonio Sánchez Romero, without forgetting the rules of their ancestors and adopting technical new has placed its wines at a medium-high segment and has been recognized for his work, is especially proud of its pedro ximenez, rubbing the perfection, from the younger brother Don PX until the great 1939 Bacchus.
