Rihaku was founden in 1882. The name come from the famous poet Li Po that in many times found the inspiration in sake. It's said that he could write about 100 poems with a bottle of sake. This sake represents the fifth-essence of Shimane, being soft, delicate and with character at the same time, showing the unami flavour in its essence. Nigori is a kind of sake without flitration, of cloudy aspect. It has the clean aroma of fresh rice juice, vegetables and the aniseed touch, with a lactic stamp. Greedy, with a final resolution in palate that recall delicacy (melon gum)with a note of alcohol and umami. Long and very interesting. Suitable with all the japanese gastronomy but also with seafood, grilled or baked fish or smooth foods. Serving temperature: 8ºC.
