WHO CAN CONTRACT
The aged rum earns its appellation after a minimum aging process of 3 years in oak barrels. Indeed, it is while it sits in small 180 liter oak barrels that previously contained Bourbon that the Damoiseau aged rum develops its amber colour. Its rich and complex aromatic flavors include subtle hints of wood, dried fruits and spices. Traditionally served as a liqueur, Damoiseau aged rum will bring all the sunshine and generosity of its place of origin to your aperitif drinks.

The Empordà appellation of origin is located in the northeastern part of Catalonia. The territory is distributed between two counties and 55 municipalities. 35 municipalities belong to the Alt Empordà and 20 are in the Baix Empordà. The average annual production is 65,000 hectoliters of wine with a planted vineyard area of approximately 2,000 hectares. At the beginning the appellation was called Empordà-Costa Brava, in 2006 the indication Costa Brava was eliminated.
