WHO CAN CONTRACT
The Macabeu and Xarel•lo grapes, harvested on our estates, constitute the basis of our “Marc de Cava”. The skins are carefully fermented, protected from oxidation and, with all their richness in the must, they are then distilled using the Charentais double distillation method, which allows the heart – the purest part of the distillate - to be selected. Aged for 6 months in Limousin oak barrels, this “Marc” offers the strength and richness, as well as the refinement and elegance, which are reserved exclusively for great distillates.

The Empordà appellation of origin is located in the northeastern part of Catalonia. The territory is distributed between two counties and 55 municipalities. 35 municipalities belong to the Alt Empordà and 20 are in the Baix Empordà. The average annual production is 65,000 hectoliters of wine with a planted vineyard area of approximately 2,000 hectares. At the beginning the appellation was called Empordà-Costa Brava, in 2006 the indication Costa Brava was eliminated.
