TASTE:

Fresh, refreshing, and very pleasant on the palate. The mint, lemon verbena, pennyroyal, chamomile, and orange blossom stand out. It leaves a very good taste that makes you want to drink more. It has some acidic, bitter notes with a spicy aftertaste at the end.

The Ratafia Malhivern is a rather dry ratafia, with little added sugar, and the taste of the pomace brandy is noticeable.

There is little sugar so it doesn’t mask the aromas. In this way, the pomace brandy helps to highlight the more refreshing mint tones at first. In the second instance, and in a more subdued manner, the pennyroyal and chamomile are noticeable. Then, the more acidic lemon flavors come through, and finally, a spicy taste.

It is recommended to drink it on its own, without ice, in a glass, preferably made of glass.
