The distillation method and the secret recipe that created James is still today used in the manufacture of gin. Looking for a name for your gin to represent the heart and full body, Burrough was inspired by the "Beefeaters, " the security guards at the Tower of London. The first Beefeater distillery was founded on the banks of the River Thames to be moved production in 1958 at the Kennington distillery need for better and bigger. Today it continues to occur there. Beefeater Gin is the only English (London Dry Gin) produced in London. Bombay Sapphire gin, as a good London Dry Gin is distilled in Cheshire, England. The real beauty of the Bombay Sapphire is in the taste, which do not overwhelm their botanical, none stands out especially, making it ideal for mixing in any cocktail of gin. The ingredients are fully international and include juniper berries and orris root from Italy, almonds and lemons from Spain, grains of paradise from West Africa, liquorice, cassia bark, China, angelic Saxony, coriander from Morocco and Cubeb berries Java. Although Bombay Sapphire gin was launched in 1987 the recipe dates from 1761.

The Empordà appellation of origin is located in the northeastern part of Catalonia. The territory is distributed between two counties and 55 municipalities. 35 municipalities belong to the Alt Empordà and 20 are in the Baix Empordà. The average annual production is 65,000 hectoliters of wine with a planted vineyard area of approximately 2,000 hectares. At the beginning the appellation was called Empordà-Costa Brava, in 2006 the indication Costa Brava was eliminated.
