Of remarkable intensity, there is the union of two olfactory registers, the primary aromas of the variety, ripe white fruit (peach, pineapple) and the tertiary aromas of the aging phase (fine wood, toasted, smoked, smoke, barrel).
Very interesting, well structured, full-bodied wine, flavor in the texture in the mouth, we detect a certain unctuousness, a creamy mid palate, very fine memories of vanilla, freshly toasted nuts, hazelnuts. All these flavors with a lively end point, very balanced acidity.
The Empordà appellation of origin is located in the northeastern part of Catalonia. The territory is distributed between two counties and 55 municipalities. 35 municipalities belong to the Alt Empordà and 20 are in the Baix Empordà. The average annual production is 65,000 hectoliters of wine with a planted vineyard area of approximately 2,000 hectares. At the beginning the appellation was called Empordà-Costa Brava, in 2006 the indication Costa Brava was eliminated.
