WHO CAN CONTRACT
In 1989 Philippe Dambois acquired the estate and founded the Clos de Agon brand. He immediately started planting different foreign varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, among others. In 1999 the current owners arrived, advised by Peter Sisseck. That same year they continued planting new plots, in this case with Cabernet Franc, Syrah and Petit Verdot. Chus Manzanares designed the new winery in 2002, inspired by Piet Mondrian, and then continued planting new plots. In 2008 Miguel Coronado joined as technical director of the winery, a position he still holds today. In 2019 they continued planting, but in this case they decided to do so with local varieties such as white, gray and red Grenache. In 2021 the winery became part of the Grandes Pagos de España.
