WHO CAN CONTRACT
This oenological gem is accompanied by a fictitious bottle in a display case, carved from beech wood and designed to resemble the innovative ovoid tank where it has been carefully biodynamically produced. Meanwhile, the original bottle patiently awaits its opening to unfold its elegance and delicacy.
'Tresor La Monja' comes from a small plot of 1.8 hectares of old pre-phylloxera vines, which had surprised Marc Eguren - enologist of the family's cellars - by its quality in its separate vinification.
With the new wine 'Tresor La Monja', Marc and his brother Miguel Eguren have brought biodynamic viticulture to its maximum expression, as a return to the agriculture of their great-grandfather Amancio. In this sense, they emphasize that all the work in the vineyard (pruning, ploughing, weeding...) has been carried out manually, at the precise moment, on the days and hours indicated, to optimize processes, preserve the principle of minimum intervention and obtain maximum character and identity, from respect for the uniqueness of the terrain and the rhythms of nature.

Wines D.O. Toro
Wines reds designation of origin D.O. Toro
The denomination of origin Toro was founded on 1987, a wine-growing zone that is gaining prestige due to the quality of its wines, better and better every year and highly recognized in fairs and specialized contests. The region is irrigated by the Duero River, between the regions of Zamora and Valladolid, in the east and the west respectively. It comprises the more occidental part of the Castilla y León community. The vines reach a surface of 5.800 hectares with an annual wine production of barely 10 millions of liters.
