TASTING NOTE
Colour

Clean, clear and bright. Garnet color with ruby reflections, where it has a medium layer intensity. Very nice to look at.

AROMA:

First contact in the glass where the aromas of red fruit (currant and raspberry) appear with small hints of citrus (blood orange). It shows a good evolution with the earthy and balsamic notes that will end up bringing it complexity.

TASTE:

Mouth with a slightly savory sensation and a certain density. With vibrant acidity and firm tannins, they will develop you to a long, fresh and persistent finish.

WHO CAN CONTRACT
After years of doing his personal projects in wineries for rent where he was also a consultant, David decided to focus all his energy on his “Phincas” wines and personal projects in different parts of Spain. In 2012 he started his garage winery near his vineyards, in his town, in Elvillar, and decided to give it the name of the same town, since Bhilar is Elvillar in Basque. The new minimal intervention winery was released in 2016 and is a concept of "winery château" that blends into the landscape. A cellar of sustainable design based on the use of solar energy and partially built underground, with concrete fermentation tanks (to help control the temperature) and French wooden vats.

The Empordà appellation of origin is located in the northeastern part of Catalonia. The territory is distributed between two counties and 55 municipalities. 35 municipalities belong to the Alt Empordà and 20 are in the Baix Empordà.
