TASTING NOTE
Colour

Clean, clear and bright. Cherry color with violet reflections, where it has an intensity of medium - high layer. Very nice to look at.

AROMA:

First contact in the nose, where its aromatic intensity welcomes you, the primary and tertiary aromas are linked in an equanimous harmony, thus offering us the notes of ripe black fruits together with the toasted, spicy and the characteristic smoky touches of the barrel.

TASTE:

Entry in the mouth where its stature fills your senses. Fleshy palate and ripe tannins. Aftertaste where the presence of ripe fruit reappears with roasted wood. Long, wide and persistent finish.

MATCHING
It is a wine that will go hand in hand with dishes of strong gustatory power, and here we highlight the dishes where the meat is the undisputed protagonist: Wild boar civet, stewed bull's tail, veal with mushrooms, roasted pork feet, chicken with plums , etc.
WHO CAN CONTRACT
Winery belonging to the Vintae group in which the reds produced under the Toro appellation are highly expressive wines that combine the care of the natural and modern biodynamic techniques to achieve ecological and very elegant wines.

Harvest: Manual harvest and transfer to the winery in small boxes and trailers.

Winemaking: Maceration and fermentation takes place in concrete tanks and malolactic fermentation takes place in new French oak barrels where it is aged for 16 months.

Bottling: No filtering has been carried out and the clarification is carried out without aggressive processes.

Toro es una de las DO que más me gustan. Matsu tiene buenos vinos, pero también mucho marketing. Entre el pícaro, el recio y el viejo, me quedo con los dos primeros por calidad/precio. El viejo no está a la altura de su precio

Wines D.O. Toro
Wines reds designation of origin D.O. Toro
The denomination of origin Toro was founded on 1987, a wine-growing zone that is gaining prestige due to the quality of its wines, better and better every year and highly recognized in fairs and specialized contests. The region is irrigated by the Duero River, between the regions of Zamora and Valladolid, in the east and the west respectively. It comprises the more occidental part of the Castilla y León community. The vines reach a surface of 5.800 hectares with an annual wine production of barely 10 millions of liters.
