Colour

Cherry color cherry

AROMA:

Powerful and incredibly complex wine. Mix of aromas and flavors of berries, red and black, ripe, combined with balsamic notes of black licorice and bitter almond notes.

TASTE:

The palate is long and develops amplitude, generating a layer of very fine granular tannins.

MATCHING
White meats, grilled lamb or kid in particular, sweetbreads and mushrooms, rice, particularly those containing meat such as rabbit paellas, rice sausage and any dish flavored with black truffle.
WHO CAN CONTRACT
Llanos del Almendro is one of the wines of payment that are elaborated in Bodegas Dominio de Atauta. It is made with grapes from a small plot located in the Atauta Valley whose main characteristic is the sandy soil with pebbles on the surface. The poverty of this sandy soil, together with the higher temperature that these soils accumulate thanks to the boulder, causes the grapes to ripen more slowly, providing a greater complexity of aromas and flavors.

Ribera del Duero is one of the most important wine-growing regions in Spain, is located in Castilla y León and embraces a part of the Duero basin. Limited in the east by the town of San Esteban de Gormaz and in the west by Quintanilla de Onessimo, Ribera del Duero has a surface of 21000 hectares and an annual production of barely 56 million of liters.
