TASTING NOTE
Colour

Clean and bright Garnet color with certain violet reflections, an extremely vivid wine is perceived. Very nice to look at.

AROMA:

It came with a lot of complexity and intensity, where it expresses with sublime elegance aromas of ripe black cherries and plums. All accompanied with a really lovely after balsamic background in which licorice and touches of clove (spice) predominate along with mineral notes.

TASTE:

It enters the mouth seducing the most demanding palates. Soft tannins, but with a strength that makes it a perfectly balanced wine, very good acidity where the notes of ripe fruit appear. Step by mouth long and fantastically persistent.

WHO CAN CONTRACT
Clos Erasmus is a red wine made at D.O.q Priorat by Clos i Terrasses in Gratallops, Tarragona. Daphne Glorian began to elaborate this wine in 1998 along with the most influential characters of the rebirth of the Priorat, such as Rene Barbier or Alvaro Palacios among others. Clos Erasmus is composed of the varieties Garnacha and Syrah, coming from three different parcels: Aubagues, Guinarderes and Escales. Garnacha is aged in new French oak barrels of 228 liters and Syrah in second year barrels. Each year the production is similar, 12-13 barrels in total. Clos Erasmus is one of the great wines of the Priorat where year after year it receives the best scores of the most famous critics of the planet. A world reference.

The Empordà appellation of origin is located in the northeastern part of Catalonia. The territory is distributed between two counties and 55 municipalities. 35 municipalities belong to the Alt Empordà and 20 are in the Baix Empordà. The average annual production is 65,000 hectoliters of wine with a planted vineyard area of approximately 2,000 hectares. At the beginning the appellation was called Empordà-Costa Brava, in 2006 the indication Costa Brava was eliminated.
