Colour

Deep intense black cherry colour with violet rims.

AROMA:

Complex aromas with hints of leather and elegant tannins.

TASTE:

Concentrated and well balanced.

It combines well with the Rioja potatoes, red meat, small game (pigeon, quail).

Pago / Finca: "Pradolagar" (50 ha of own vineyard) with an average vineyard age of 35 years, clay-calcareous soil with excellent permeability qualities to achieve quality in our fruits, together with an adequate content of organic matter and nutrients .
Elaboration: Classical with destemming, alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks liters for 11/13 days, control of the temperature between 29-30ºC, pumping over and daily punching, long macerations during a period of 12 days after fermentation to guarantee a great abstract.
Aging: 20 months in American, French and Russian oak barrels. We use barrels from the best coopers, Seguin Moreau, Demptos and Maury, the use of which is for a maximum of five years. Every year we renew 20% of our barrel park. Regular racking every five months and then every six months.
