TASTING NOTE
Colour

Red brick, Ruby tones.

AROMA:

Complex, evolved and high aromatic power. Dominated by notes of dried fruits, jam apple, honey and minerals . Elegant, opulent.

TASTE:

Nice and very balanced. Sublime palate, silky and satiny. Reminiscences to dried fruits and mineral notes. Long finish, with many nuances. A rarity with an extraordinary ageing.

MATCHING
For special occasions and with the best company, or as a dessert wine. They recommend a "Brown glace" to accompany this jewel.
WHO CAN CONTRACT
It belongs to the winery Arrels del Priorat, garnacha 100%, chestnut oak aging and a small part of French oak, with a system of soleras of about 60 years, and breeding with a set of 7 barrels, where each one of them contributes different nuances that make up its complexity. It is an oxidized wine and its alcoholic degree is very high and is achieved in a natural way.

The Empordà appellation of origin is located in the northeastern part of Catalonia. The territory is distributed between two counties and 55 municipalities. 35 municipalities belong to the Alt Empordà and 20 are in the Baix Empordà. The average annual production is 65,000 hectoliters of wine with a planted vineyard area of approximately 2,000 hectares. At the beginning the appellation was called Empordà-Costa Brava, in 2006 the indication Costa Brava was eliminated.
