TASTING NOTE
Colour

Ruby red medium-high lay, thin legs fall slow.

AROMA:

Wide range of aromas with variety predominance (dry grass, hay, soil) supplemented with tertiary aromas of ageing, with frank memories of smoked, roasted nuts (almonds, hazelnuts), spices (nutmeg) and plant background (mushrooms, rainforest).

TASTE:

The palate is gentle and moderately dense on entrey, warm and refreshing tannic structure, balanced acidity, alcohol, fruit and caramelized in the aftertaste and ending with lime memories (gypsum).

WHO CAN CONTRACT
Single variety red wine where we want to rediscover the Samsó variety, since we have always grown in the Penedes area. A full wine with structure, ideal to drink with the most typical dishes of our country gastronomy like meat, sausages and stews.

Wines reds designation of origin D.O. Penedès
Between the cities of Barcelona and Tarragona is located the Penedès region, with the largest wine-growing surface and the largest production in Catalonia. Bordered by the Mediterranean Sea, the Pre-litoral Mountains and from the Llobregat River to the Gaià River. The most important cities of this appellation of origin are the Vilafranca del Penedès (capital city) and Sant Sadurní d’Anoia. The more planted variety is Xarel·lo, with a surface of more than 7000 hectares.
