WHO CAN CONTRACT
Riojan wineries The Artacho family already had a deep winemaking tradition when, in 1890, they founded Bodegas Riojanas together with Rafael Carreras. Signs of this tradition are the stone door that in 1799 allowed access to family vineyards and which is now preserved at the entrance to the Cenicero winery, and especially the prizes awarded to its wines prior to that foundation, such as .la gold medal of the Universal Exhibition of Barcelona in 1888. Bodegas Riojanas treasures more than a century of winemaking tradition in its Cenicero winery. Its corners are steeped in history and tell us about the passion that has been lived in for the aging of its wines. This tradition and passion have been transmitted to the current team of Bodegas Riojanas, which considers commitment to the quality and personality of its wines as the most precious heritage. Elaboration: Harvest delayed with slight over-ripening. Natural fermentation in new American oak barrels. Aging: Permanence of about five months on lees with daily sticking. Grape varieties: 80% Viura, 20% Malvasia de Rioja. From vineyards in Cenicero.
