Aromas of red fruits (raspberries and wild strawberries), ripe black fruit (blackberries and currants) and small balsamic touches of licorice. In the minutes in the glass, the complexity of the wine takes over the glass, offering us the most representative notes of the Priorat, where the minerality followed by slightly spicy touches closes the aromatic range.
Inlet in the mouth where its graduation (characteristic of the variety) is imperceptible. It is presented with a memorable freshness and elegance, and where the tannins, in their passage through the mouth, manage to melt with a memorable neatness.
The Empordà appellation of origin is located in the northeastern part of Catalonia. The territory is distributed between two counties and 55 municipalities. 35 municipalities belong to the Alt Empordà and 20 are in the Baix Empordà. The average annual production is 65,000 hectoliters of wine with a planted vineyard area of approximately 2,000 hectares. At the beginning the appellation was called Empordà-Costa Brava, in 2006 the indication Costa Brava was eliminated.
