PARKER
Cherry colour, clear and bright, of a high layer.
An intense wine that largely expresses the varietal of Pinot Noir, defined by red fruits such as cherry and cassis and complemented with touches of leather and toast.
The top palate is very lush, incredibly fresh with silky tannins. Fruity notes reappear, together with royal jelly to combine with notes of toast. It's a wine with a lingering finish.
The Empordà appellation of origin is located in the northeastern part of Catalonia. The territory is distributed between two counties and 55 municipalities. 35 municipalities belong to the Alt Empordà and 20 are in the Baix Empordà. The average annual production is 65,000 hectoliters of wine with a planted vineyard area of approximately 2,000 hectares. At the beginning the appellation was called Empordà-Costa Brava, in 2006 the indication Costa Brava was eliminated.
