Colour

Clean, clear and bright. Intense cherry color with garnet reflections. Medium / high layer intensity. Very nice to see.

AROMA:

The nose is the purity of the terroir. Its complexity is overwhelming, where the range of fruit is the main protagonist. Ripe black fruit, such as plum, figs, cherries, blackberries and almost computerized cassis, predominates in its olfactory phase, where it finishes its most mineral part with its notes of stone and graphite.

TASTE:

Intense mouth entry, with character and almost chewy personality. Concentrated but well integrated and balanced tannins with an extraordinary vividness, thus leading to a long and memorable finish.

Sorella (sister in Italian and quite possibly a family wink) is the top wine of Chris Camarda, winemaker and owner of the Andrew Will winery, a boutique project in Washington state. It is a devastating, corporeal, chewy, concentrated and pure wine that shows us the fantastic potential that the legendary Bordeaux blend can achieve in the promised land. The Cabernet sauvignon used for Sorella comes from Block 1, the oldest section of Champoux Vineyard, the most reputable vineyard of the famous Horse Heaven Hills.

This blend, dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon, shows how the Champoux vineyard continues to produce the highest quality fruit in Washington state.
