Entry into majestic nose. Aromatically the wine is the summit of the complexity and the character, where it offers us a catalog that goes from the nuts, cherries, jam of blackberry, dates and spices, where the liquorice with more advanced aromas of tobacco leaf stands out.
In the mouth, it is still a clear representation of what we have found in the nose. Concentrated and pure, almost chewy, but with sweet and fresh tannins. End with a lot of flavor and good persistence.
The Empordà appellation of origin is located in the northeastern part of Catalonia. The territory is distributed between two counties and 55 municipalities. 35 municipalities belong to the Alt Empordà and 20 are in the Baix Empordà. The average annual production is 65,000 hectoliters of wine with a planted vineyard area of approximately 2,000 hectares. At the beginning the appellation was called Empordà-Costa Brava, in 2006 the indication Costa Brava was eliminated.
