Wines whites variety Pinotage

Banner red grape variety of South African viticulture, created in the same country from cross between Pinot Noir and Cinsaut called Hermitage in those days, hence the acronym for Pinotage. Early maturing strain and high polyphenol content. It produces wines of high alcohol content, opulent tannins, balanced acidity and aromas reminiscent of berries, banana, tropical fruit, smoky nuances and some earthy note.
