Colour

Yellow gold with hints of straw. Limpid and bright.

AROMA:

Rich and energetic. Aromas of ripe apple, sweet pear, citrus and melon. Although surrounded by vanilla, hints of minerals and traces of hazelnut.

WHO CAN CONTRACT
1966 Mondavi and his family opened a winery in Napa Valley to be among the great wines of the world. The winery was designed by Cliff May in honor of the Franciscan missionaries who introduced wine in California. Robert Mondavi owns several luxury wines brands, including Robert Mondavi Winery and Opus One. In 1978, the company reached the shelves of malls to purchase brand Woodbridge, and created the Robert Mondavi Private Selection brand. It is intended that these marks have a bottle of wine on every table in America and the world.

The Empordà appellation of origin is located in the northeastern part of Catalonia. The territory is distributed between two counties and 55 municipalities. 35 municipalities belong to the Alt Empordà and 20 are in the Baix Empordà. The average annual production is 65,000 hectoliters of wine with a planted vineyard area of approximately 2,000 hectares. At the beginning the appellation was called Empordà-Costa Brava, in 2006 the indication Costa Brava was eliminated.
