It is straw yellow in color, intense and bright.
On the nose we can find aromas of ripe pear and apple essence, very attractive, with some hints of white pepper, a touch of almond and vanilla that resurfaces with time. It is a rarity to find white Pinot in Nuits-St.-Georges.
The cru of La Perrière is produced, as its name indicates, in an old quarry. With very rocky and calcareous soils. This unique cru offers intense, complex and unusual wines. This wine is as confidential as it is fascinating. It comes from vines planted in 1947, the production ranges from 2000 to 2500 bottles.
The Empordà appellation of origin is located in the northeastern part of Catalonia. The territory is distributed between two counties and 55 municipalities. 35 municipalities belong to the Alt Empordà and 20 are in the Baix Empordà. The average annual production is 65,000 hectoliters of wine with a planted vineyard area of approximately 2,000 hectares. At the beginning the appellation was called Empordà-Costa Brava, in 2006 the indication Costa Brava was eliminated.
