Clean, clear and bright. Cherry color with garnet reflections, where it has a high layer intensity. Very nice to look at.
The nose highlights the aromas of red and black fruits with a marked evolution of jam, complex notes of spices that lead to the peculiar touches of smoky and toasted of its aging in French oak barrels.
Mouth with good texture. Tasty and voluptuous on the palate, where they fuse with elegantly velvety tannins. Long-lasting, friendly and persistent.
The Empordà appellation of origin is located in the northeastern part of Catalonia. The territory is distributed between two counties and 55 municipalities. 35 municipalities belong to the Alt Empordà and 20 are in the Baix Empordà. The average annual production is 65,000 hectoliters of wine with a planted vineyard area of approximately 2,000 hectares. At the beginning the appellation was called Empordà-Costa Brava, in 2006 the indication Costa Brava was eliminated.
