Château Corton Grancey offers a beautiful deep robe with garnets

AROMA:

It exudes aromas of blackcurrant and licorice.

TASTE:

The palate is full and complex with aromas of black fruits, licorice, chlorophyll and woody notes. Very long finish with freshness, almost a saline side.

WHO CAN CONTRACT
"Grancey" was the name of the last owners of the Château located on the route des Cortons, before the Latour family bought it in 1891. This wine is an exclusivity of the Maison Louis Latour. It is an assemblage of four climates of Corton Grand Cru of Domaine Latour: Bressandes, Perrières, Grèves and Clos du Roi, whose proportions may vary according to the vintage. The average age of the vines is over 40 years old. After a separate breeding, only the best casks are assembled for the creation of "Château Corton Grancey" which is produced only in the best years.

The Empordà appellation of origin is located in the northeastern part of Catalonia. The territory is distributed between two counties and 55 municipalities. 35 municipalities belong to the Alt Empordà and 20 are in the Baix Empordà. The average annual production is 65,000 hectoliters of wine with a planted vineyard area of approximately 2,000 hectares. At the beginning the appellation was called Empordà-Costa Brava, in 2006 the indication Costa Brava was eliminated.
