Colour: Red with ruby highlights. Upper middle layer.
Aroma: Harmonious and expressive depth. Include notes of blackberry jam, licorice and toasted background mineral notes.
Taste: Good structure, excellent balance between acidity and alcohol. Satiny palate, ripe tannins. Red fruits with hints of sweet toasted notes. Final noticeable where the fruit is the star. A Saint-Julien to discover.
Well-balanced taste with a beef tenderloin with foie gras, veal with mushrooms, secret Iberian Parmentier potatoes or baked good knuckle.
Chateau Gloria is a wine from the apellation of origin Saint-Julien, Bordeaux. The winery was founded by Henri Martin in 1942 with the acquisition of the first 6 hectares. During the following years the properties expanded with the purchase of different estates from the neighbouring lands. The vineyards hold 48 hectares, with the following distribution: 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot.
