TASTING NOTE
Colour

Cherry ruby colour with brick trim.

AROMA:

Elegant and complex with aromas of ripe black fruit, prunes ... Reminiscences of liquorice very interesting.

TASTE:

We recommend decanting to aerate both olfactory and gustatory. Well structured and snuff the leaf, cassis, clove, sandalwood can be perceived well. Persistent, balanced and long aftertaste.

MATCHING
Ideal with dishes of an average taste power. We serve with food or preparations not very strong or spicy, white meats light sauced, rabbit stew, sautéed mushrooms, stuffed with meat and vegetable gratin, beef carpaccio.
WHO CAN CONTRACT
Château Figeac, classified as Premier Grand Cru de Saint-Émilion, offers elegance and the refinement of the great wines of Bordeaux. The location of the farm is exceptional, as is its terroir and its history, which is inextricably linked to that of Saint-Émilion. Its origins date back to the second century AD and the Figeacus family, who gave the farm to his name. The Manoncourt family, who have owned the farm for more than 120 years, has formed the unique character of Château Figeac.
