TASTING NOTE
Colour

Cherry red, medium-high layer.

AROMA:

Elegant, with great aromatic power. Blend of red ripe fruit (raspberry,blackberry)with spicy notes and noble woods.

TASTE:

Good acidity and structure. Pleasant in palate that gives a velvety sensation. Reminds of cedar, liquorice and candied strawberry. Long and tasty end.

WHO CAN CONTRACT
Chateau La Tour de Mons is a cellar located on the north of the Margaux appellation (Bordeaux), on the shore of the Garona river, the zone with the best Crus from Médoc. Pierre Mons acquired the property in 1623 and the cellar got his name. The estate was directed by the family until the end of the twentieth century, when the new owners got in with an important renewal programme. The 48 hectares parcel is composed of Merlot (55%), Cabernet Sauvignon (36%) and Petit Verdot (4%).

The Empordà appellation of origin is located in the northeastern part of Catalonia. The territory is distributed between two counties and 55 municipalities. 35 municipalities belong to the Alt Empordà and 20 are in the Baix Empordà. The average annual production is 65,000 hectoliters of wine with a planted vineyard area of approximately 2,000 hectares. At the beginning the appellation was called Empordà-Costa Brava, in 2006 the indication Costa Brava was eliminated.
