Colour

Intense cherry red with high layer, wide trim and abundant tear.

AROMA:

Aromatic and complex. Toasted and spicy notes of vanilla, coffee and cocoa, with peeper and licorice touches.

TASTE:

In mouth is silky and fresh. Balanced and structured. Long end with greedy aftertaste.

MATCHING
Perfect to serve with red meat, poultry dishes and cured cheeses/sausages.

The Empordà appellation of origin is located in the northeastern part of Catalonia. The territory is distributed between two counties and 55 municipalities. 35 municipalities belong to the Alt Empordà and 20 are in the Baix Empordà. The average annual production is 65,000 hectoliters of wine with a planted vineyard area of approximately 2,000 hectares. At the beginning the appellation was called Empordà-Costa Brava, in 2006 the indication Costa Brava was eliminated.
