Colour

Old gold with iodinated reflexes.

AROMA:

Soft and opulent. Notes to citrus with hints of rose petals.

TASTE:

Dense, structured, good balance. Nice palate with notes to skin of lemon and tangerine. Sweet without cloying end.

MATCHING
Suitable for desserts as an apple pie with cream, cake parisien or some tea cookies.
WHO CAN CONTRACT
Capçanes is the name of a town and its cooperative, both situated in the comarca of the Priorat, in the interior of the province of Tarragona. Its vineyards belonged to the DO Falset subzone Tarragona until at the end of 2001 because in this subzone was born the new DO Montsant.

The Empordà appellation of origin is located in the northeastern part of Catalonia. The territory is distributed between two counties and 55 municipalities. 35 municipalities belong to the Alt Empordà and 20 are in the Baix Empordà. The average annual production is 65,000 hectoliters of wine with a planted vineyard area of approximately 2,000 hectares. At the beginning the appellation was called Empordà-Costa Brava, in 2006 the indication Costa Brava was eliminated.
