Iodized amber with hints of mahogany.
AROMA:
Intense. Very round, at the same time complex. Notes of American and French oak, balsamic flashes, chocolate, roasted, vanilla, citrus (orange peel), nutmeg, cloves and black licorice are observed.
TASTE:
Well structured attack, very long and round, which allows not to find ends, giving a feeling of harmony. You can appreciate the density and mellowness of the P.X. perfectly mixed with the dry Oloroso. Important presence of American oak and French oak, as well as the contributions that it facilitates such as vanilla, greater structure or sweetness.
MATCHING
Combines with countless starters, pica-picas of different types, olives, pickles, clams, cockles, canned seafood, mussels, smoked fish, salmon, tuna, cod. Also with Iberian sausages, acorn-fed ham, cheeses, etc.

ROBERTO AMILLO collaborates with Bodegas Altanza de la Rioja, which are responsible for marketing all the ROBERTO AMILLO COLLECTION products, a selection of great wines and brandies from Jerez.
Bodegas Altanza, located in Fuenmayor (Rioja Alta), was born in October 1998 with a clear founding principle: to produce quality wines, with a more "lively" style than the classic Rioja of yesteryear, and to market them at a fair price. It is understood that the long wine-making and oenological tradition of the region was a source of pride and should be respected in its essence. However, the taste of national and foreign consumers, increasingly better informed, and the hygiene, quality and efficiency demands of our times clearly indicated that new technologies should be present in the production process from the beginning.
Consequently, the architecture of the winery is also conceived, like the project, following a balance between tradition and technology.
The tradition is not only reflected in the beauty of the central building and its gardens, but also in the choice of its varietal, Tempranillo, and in certain elements of the wine-making process, such as vertical hydraulic presses or 22,000-liter capacity vats. made with oak that comes from the centuries-old forests of "Allier", in France. Furthermore, it should be noted that most of the 7,500 barrels are French oak.
The technology is mainly reflected in the stainless steel tanks of different sizes equipped with hot and cold jackets for absolute temperature control during fermentations. They have their own laboratory and a modern bottle rack, which is kept at a constant temperature.
Currently the farm has an area of 220 hectares. of vineyard and 60 of olive grove. It supplies most of the grape that is needed; the rest are carefully selected.
THE WINES
Winery specializing in the production of 100% Tempranillo reserves, later two crianza wines were added, an aromatic white and a rosé. In Altanza you can always find expressive, elegant and friendly wines, with a good integration between the barrel and the fruit and with a marked personality.
EL VERMUT DE JEREZ SPECIAL RESERVATION
The best wines are used, Oloroso Seco, PX and yolk must aged in American oak casks and all macerated with more than 30 herbs, roots and flowers in French oak wood.
